The center tray has become a constant nuisance. It slides open at the slightest forward movement of the coach; only the first detent keeps it in place. Hoping there's someone who has come up with a way other than Duct tape for the tray to stay closed as effective it does with the first detent stop notch. In the meantime, I keep it at the first detent, annoying as it of course sticks out into the entrance aisle
I tinkered with mine for hours to get it to stay closed. From below (after removing the felt covered wood roof of the swing open cabinet) you'll see an aluminum bar with notches in it that latches it full open and partial. It gets bent easily if bumped when locked open/partial, and needs to have the exact shape to get it to slide into the rear slot to lock it closed. I had to give mine a little bow to meet all locking points properly.
Here's how I fixed mine;
I removed the piece of aluminum flat bar and the black rubber end piece. Using two crescent wrenches I straightened the bar out where it was twisted 90 degrees. Then I re-twisted it much closer to the end of the bar, and that allowed me to cut another slot in the now vertical part of the bar at the precise location needed to hold the drawer closed. In other words the original twist was exactly where the slot needed to be, so I moved the twist. Then I shortened the rubber piece and re-installed it and screwed the whole assembly back into place.
The whole job took about 30 minutes and the hardest part was determining where the new slot should be cut. I did that by loosely attaching a small zip-tie around the bar and closing the drawer so the zip-tie was moved by the striker to the new location.........exactly like you would do to a shock absorber to measure shock travel.
Here's a thread explaining how I addressed mine.

Hardware House 64-4567 Contractor Pack Roller Catch, Brown, 10-Pack -... (https://www.amazon.com/Hardware-House-64-4567-Contractor-10-Pack/dp/B002BY9JT6/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1545297066&sr=8-3&keywords=cabinet+door+catch)
I inserted one of these and works like it originally did.
Gave up on mine.. hit the brakes it closed for me.. stop on the gas and hit a bump or two and it opened.. very annoying, very. Got it to shut and never use it now.. maybe time to revisit a repair on this
I fixed mine when I first got the coach. Fixed it good. I made me a fancy dancy tray holder opener out of a wood dowl and s wood ball. Has not moved since!
