Title: Another What's this switch?
Post by: folivier on December 17, 2018, 06:33:13 pm
Today while pulling out the HWH touchpad I noticed at the front of the flip-up dash cover where the hinges are there is an unmarked switch.  Sorry didn't think to take a picture but it is the same type as the other switches all over the coach.
Any idea what that is for?

To the best of my knowledge,it has to do with the transmission. I would leave it alone.

I have two on mine. One is something to do with the ABS system and the other one is used to adjust the engine idle. Search the forum for a more detailed explanation.

I have two switches also but I cant keep from pushing buttons. I always try to return them back to where they were. One of mine is a spring loaded switch like some of my light switches the other is a on/off switch.
You now have me wondering what they are for also.
Time to start the search !!!

It sounds like you are talking about the "hidden" diagnostic switches under the dash. Here is a link that should provide some info from the beamalarm site...
ABS Troubleshooting (http://www.beamalarm.com/Documents/retrieving_abs_troubleshooting_codes.html).
