Just purchased a 2007 Foretravel Nimbus. I was driving the rig back from where we purchased it yesterday and wound up driving some at night. Wow the headlights are terrible, I would call them border line dangerous. Has anyone had a similar experience and has anyone changed to LED bulbs, if so what were the results?
Many owners have modified the headlights, particularly on coaches older than yours starting with model year 1995. The headlights were just too low. Thought that FT would have solved that problem by 2007.

Welcome to the club! You will find many friends here if this is your first visit to the forum -
Many many of us have upgraded Foretravel headlights over the years. two quick suggestions one for your enjoyment and one for ours.
- In your user profile, you can add information about year/make/model/build number of your coach - that info will sho up in your signature block when you post, which is very helpful when we see a post to have an idea of what coach we are talking about (and you don't have to add somewhere in the post).
- In the upper right hand corner of the home page you will see the "search" feature. LOTS of threads and posts over the years on this topic (along with thousands of other topics). As you wait to hear back from members on your specific post, you might want to experiment with the search option to see what body of knowledge is already available on the forum. We are always ready to read and respond to requests, but you can gain a ton of the assembled wisdom of the forum "on demand" and without waiting just by using this powerful feature. - you might also search for "Nimbus" or "2017 Nimbus" to see other items of interest specific to your coach.
Welcome again, check in often!
Welcome to the forum!. The Nimbus headlights are much higher than the original Unicoaches position, so that isn't your issue. I would check to see if there was a voltage drop issue at the connectors when the headlights are on. It could be a corroded ground or other wiring issue. An easy thing to try would be to use some DeoxyIT or other contact cleaner on the connectors at the head lamps. That said, changing the lamps could help, even use the original halogen bulbs because they can fade a bit over time.

Here is some information not in our archives about headlight height above the ground and mounting aux. lights. Our U300/U280 tall coaches have the bottom of the headlight bulb about 48 inches above the ground. Colorado limits height to 44 inches. Don't drink Coors beer and you're probably OK. :)
