Anyone know what this sw does? Never noticed in as it was hidden behind the CB cord/mic. At one time it had a cover on it. The wires from head off on down into the center of the dashboard

That's 1 of 2 step cover switches on mine. The other is to the right of the passenger chair.

3-way wired step slide switch with a broken off hinged cover that was labeled. Two wires connect the two switches together so either switch will open or close the slide.

I knew of the switch shown on the above picture. I didn't know a second switch might be by the passenger seat. Will check it out.

My switches are just like the others. I usually forget to close it :o The DW has to remind me.
