Does any one have or know where to get a plastic armor for the front of a U320.
Or maybe a good leather or vynl one made.
Or do you know of a good coating to help easily remove bugs.
Just getting prepared for the travel season and would like to reduce my elbow grease from rubbing them off.
Thank You
Ricker
Bugs still stick, but not so hard to remove.

When I was driving trucks out of Florida, A lot of us used to paint the front (all cabovers back then) with Vaseline. Messy but works.

You are asking about a bug shield for a U320, but your signature says you own a U280...? Planning to upgrade?
This company claims to manufacture rigid plastic front armor for motorhomes. I know nothing about the company or their products.

I use WaxWasAll on the front. Get it clean, WWA the front and the mirrors. At the end of a driving day, maybe some water in a bucket if they are bad and then WWA again. Once you start using WWa they come off pretty easy. Stay ahead of then or they petrify.

I swear by hydrogen peroxide. Spray on at the end of the day then hose off. It dissolves the bugs.
Never heard of this one. I'll have to try it. Do you spray it on straight or watered down?

I use hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle as well.
I use a moist micro fiber cloth with the hydrogen peroxide spray on difficult bugs. Made cleaning the bugs of much easier on our trip through Alaska.

The spray bottle with peroxide is what we use for the bugs, spray when I get to the CG then wipe/rinse after a while. If the peroxide seems strange to some, try this on for size, to remove asphalt streaks picked up in a construction 🚧 zone use peanut butter and rinse.

I have never heard of that remedy, but sure will try it now! The love bugs are the worst and they come twice a year in Florida. Oily and when baked on, miserable to remove! If this stuff works on them, I'm buying stock in hydrogen peroxide!
Try WD-40 on the asphalt, less messy.Wonder what the peroxide does to your wax or sealant?
We use a 50/50 mix of Dawn and water in a squirt bottle. Let set and then spray with water in another squirt bottle.
Learned that from the truckers at the local Flying J in South Florida.
For the grill of our truck, I wipe it down with a micro fiber cloth after spaying Dawn/water. Works great.
To each his own on this subject,I prefer multable coats of Zainobros paint sealant and most of the time the bugs will come off
with a water hose and a rag.If you have any wax or sealant on your coach it's going to come off with Dawn, that's the main reason
I never take a vehicle to a fund raiser car wash, they use the worst possible cleaner for a paint job,if it's a great cause just pay and
leave.
