Title: Pulse tech automatic equalization
Post by: Caflashbob on February 24, 2019, 01:47:07 pm
After the reference here to Newell coaches I read their specs chart and ran across this info.

Pulse Technology | Pulsetech Products Corporation (https://www.pulsetech.net/our-technology/pulse-technology.html)

A lot of owners here have put in non oem AGM batteries for various reasons.

Some variationa of this would seem to be needed if you have agm's.

I had systems on my gels but my buddy removed them as was not needed on gels.

AGM or flooded cell only

Had them on both my Newells and recently put one on my engine batteries on my FT.  Cheap insurance that may extend my redtops a few years longer.

I added a desulfater to each of my 3 lifeline agm coach batteries about 4 yrs ago after reading a post by Wyatt on them.
My batteries seem to agre with them as they seem to be doing OK after almost 8 yrs of use and only solar charging.

Seems the units work.  Thanks for the reminder about the AGM redtops being AGM.  It just crossed my mind in the last few days. And I have them sitting here.  Duh.

Takes a long time but works.
