Wipers work fine on all settings but when turn off switch blades stop in middle of each pane instead of going to middle the way suppose to. Any advice?

The output driveshaft on the wiper motor has a flat so the eccentric ring (this is what the wiper drive shaft arms hook to) won't slip. Have you had the wiper arms off and not got them indexed properly? If not,
I would guess that the disc with the "0" indent inside the motor gear box has worn causing the motor not to know where to stop.
Now remember this is a sure enough WAG as this don't happen often. I think this may be the first time this has been brought up here on the Forum.
