Hello!
We need to take down our Sony flat screen tv that hangs in the front of the coach. We will be putting it back in place after we gain access to the space behind it. Our problem is that the TV is not the original and we have no idea how to release the bracket that it hangs on. IT is mounted over the front of the original wooden cabinet. You can only pull the bottom of the TV out about 1" in order to see behind it and the bracket appears to be about 10" above that. Any help would be appreciated!
Thank you,

Can you get your camera to take a picture?
I can't get a pic as I can't pull out the tv far enough to see anything. The only thing I could get you is a pic of the tv mounted to the original frame for the old tv, which really isn't helpful I don't think. There must be a release on the bracket somewhere, but you can't see anything from below.
Many of these mounts have brackets that mount on the TV. These brackets hook on and hang on the mount. Often some screws on the bottom of the brackets on the TV lock it in place. Some are phillips drive screws, mine are hex drive. Removing the TV from this type of mounts is release, rotate the bottom away from the mount and lift the TV off then mount.
Someone got it on. It will come off.
Put camera in selfie mode?
Some of them are pretty simple. Here's a photo of mine. My TV is much smaller than most but you never know; you might have a similar mount. The red arrows point to the lips that the TV hangs on. The yellow arrow points to a little screw that locks it in place. To take this one out, I pull the bottom of the TV out a bit, shine a flashlight up and remove the Phillips screw with a long handled screw driver. Then I lift the TV straight up until it clears the mount lips and off it comes. Good luck.

Thank you everyone that replied! After removing a wooden strip that was glued to the top of the tv, we were finally able to pull the tv out enough, to see the latch that needed to move. When we moved the latch with a very long screwdriver it released the tv.
Again, thank you to everyone!!!
