Doing a search on rv covers takes me back to the old yahoo posts. Is there anyone using covers at this time? This is not for mine as it is under a canopy, but my brothers is out in the open and his current cover has started to disintegrate. Doing Google searches is not the same as getting a personal opinion of good and bad experiences.
Location location location, when trapping moisture under the cover is involved. Socal may be ok.
I used a cover on our previous 32' moho. What a PIA that turned out to be. The first cover lasted one year. They said they would replace one time, or I could put the cost of the cover towards a more expensive one that was guaranteed for several years. Don't remember exactly the length of time. So I upgraded, spent more money, and got the new longer lasting one. It also weighted a hell of lot more. It did last two plus years but, the sun in So Cal still shredded it.
It was bulky, heavy and a real pain to get on roof. I was doing this solo. The chance of falling while walking on the roof unrolling the cover goes way up compared to just being up there.
When I took it off you would not believe the size of it folded for storage. Almost impossible to pick up because of size and weight. Dirt still gets through the material and rub marks on "high points" of the moho show and have to be cleaned.
Finally I threw it away. Then I realized that all I really had done was create a hard back breaking job that really was not that beneficial to the protection of the moho's paint and decals.
I discovered that the moho was in better condition by having it washed once a month and waxed twice a year.
I will never buy a cover for any rv we own in the future.
That's my opinion. Others may have a better experience than I.
I sold a lot of camper pampers way back when. Wrestling with them got old. Used Foretravel roof pods to put them in. On the roof
Second pod for a spare wheel and tire sometimes.
Unfortunately, my brother's coach is dark cocoa brown with black and gold graphics. Without a cover the inside temp gets over 120 easily on a summer day here in the San Fernando Valley. With a cover he can keep it in the 80' on those same days. He is just trying to find out if the Adco cover would last near as long as his last Element cover, as it is cheaper.
PM, Personnel message me, I may have a almost new, never used 40' Adco cover to sell in 6 weeks when I return to Oregon.
My neighbor gifted me an Adco 34ft cover. Heavy . My bus gets used once a month or better so I dont see getting up there to use it.

We have an ADCO cover, their best one. Used it for two years now. Pros: Goes on easily but you will need to get on roof. Held up well to the elements. Still looks new. ADCO will send you an iron-on repair kit for free. Cons: Tears easily if snagged on windshield wipers. Not cat proof. The feral cat that lives under the coach got trapped by the cover freezing to the ground so he made himself a new door.
