Title: ceramic coatings
Post by: ricker on April 03, 2019, 03:53:30 pm
Has anyone used a ceramic coating like System x on their coach?
I'm considering using them but kind of scared.
If you have any info it would be appreciated

Says it can last 3 to 5 years depending on how the coach it is stored. Inside or outside. Sure makes a nice shine..

Interested in what happens in 3 to 5 years.. Peel off.... get dull..I would need to know because what I read on irv2 after the prep work the rig should be looking pretty darn good without spraying something else on it that is going to change to "something" in 3 to 5 years.

Probably just needs another cost is my guess. One guy is st his 3 years and he said it looks like it did the first day but he keeps his rig inside a garage

No ceramic's, but the bugs and dirt come off easier. And a bit cheaper.
RejeX: Nothing sticks but the shine! (http://rejex.com/rejex-high-gloss-finish-that-protects/?gclid=CjwKCAjw-ZvlBRBbEiwANw9UWjrsgsLWkJ1lm1ZIKwxfUfnkGGK7EQqBD4UoGozuTP0NM4la082-cxoCMBkQA)

Try getting it delivered to Ca.
I am having it shipped to Texas where a Fed X driver friend of mine will pick it up and bring it to me. Amazon and others say no Cal. shipping addresses will be accepted.

I have not done the coach yet, however, 3 of my cars have it. They look better than new with just a light wash every time. Awesome stuff. It was about 1,500  a car professionally done and worth every penny in my opinion. No more wax, priceless!

Wonder how he acid washed the coach.  Is there a special formula?  What was used?

Has anyone gone any further with using a ceramic coating on their coach?

I've been using Polyglow for 7 years on RV's and boat. Works great on fiberglass or our type of siding. Not for metal. It even cleared my foggy headlights
