For those of you that have fit the blind side camera, where did you mount it? Looks like it could work in quite a few places. Maybe even pointed out through a window.
Ahead of the door, below the floor. Wiring was pretty easy, view is very good. Manitor switches to that camera when rt turn signals are on. 4 way flashers too.
Aimable, wide angle lens, infrared night view as well.
How much and what components? My coach has a manual 3 view colour screen/inputs, and I don't know much about that kinda thing and no documentation. Or just start over as new stuff is cheap?
Our 97 had a Foretravel oem on the line installed right side camera in a gel coated fiberglass "bump" panel with a glass window in it.
Wanna bet Foretravel still has the mold. Use my build number. #5132.
If anyone wants a picture I could post one.
Harder to scrape off protected.
Regular old style camera in it. Still works 22 years later
They are $179 now.
Premium White Side Mounted RV Camera (Adjustable Lens) (https://www.tadibrothers.com/products/white-premium-side-rv-camera)
Black (probably paintable) is $99.
Here's where I mounted mine. I used one of those cheapo Chinese cameras which they almost paid me to buy.

Thanks. I think that I will make a pie shaped box to mount under my new trafficator. The little Chinese wireless still works swell for the rear, so ordered another for the side.
You want a good camera with infrared for night, wide angle to get the blind spot and an adjustable aim. And one that will last longer than you own your coach. Get a good one.
