Title: Oasis Water Heater
Post by: GeeBee on April 20, 2019, 11:07:04 am
Hi everyone and Happy Easter!
Please have been reading posts but haven't got idea.
2012 Nimbus with Oasis hot water heater. Heater turns on, runs what appears to be normal. But water luke warm at best, not hot. No code lights lit and have shut down and restated, pressed reset button. Fluid levels seem ok. Thanks

Assuming it similar to an Aqua Hot, there is a mixing valve involved for the hot water. Is the heater function blowing hot air? If you have a manual that describes the operation of the Oasis check it out. Did this problem just start? Are you on the diesel function or A/C?

ITR OASIS NE-S OWNER'S MANUAL Pdf Download. (https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1257921/Itr-Oasis-Ne-S.html?page=1#manual)

Doesn't appear to be very helpful as far as "trouble shooting" goes...

Looks like no mixing valve just an electronic module.

Agreed and thanks. I checked the troubleshooting. The device is hot to the touch. Water comes hot for 5 seconds then Luke warm. Device kicks on as running but doesn't get hotter.

There is a circular small window on the front of the main unit where the buttons are. When the burner is on look at the flame and make sure it is bright orange.

Also if you are plugged in try running it on AC Heat for about an hour and see if that side works better.

I have the same unit so hopefully can provide feedback if you need more help.
