Do all 2003 Foretravel motorhomes have the 2002 diesel engine which has NO EGR system or do some late 2003 U295s have the 2003 motors with EGR systems? I would like to avoid the emission motors and can't afford a DEF generation Foretravel motorhome.
Also does anyone know the RV number or time when the 2003 U295s went from the 2002 (train) slide out systems to the 2003 systems?
Also was the 2003 slide out systems trouble free?
I'm looking for a 2003 double slide U295 36 foot if anyone knows of a nice one. I'm limited to 36 feet so I can park it at my home in Fort Lauderdale. Thanks for the info and any suggestions anyone may have as I look for my next motorhome. I hope to travel in it for the summers, starting in the summer of 2022. So I have plenty of time to look and learn. Thanks again for all your help in this process.

I can only answer one of your questions: NO slide out system is
trouble free.
Slides are complicated mechanisms. Some slides work better than others, and are more reliable. Some owners are luckier than others.
Based on what I have read on this Forum, if you have (one or more) slides you will in all likelihood eventually have some sort of problem.
Those who like slides feel they are worth the trouble. Those (like me) who don't care for slides get along fine without them.
