Title: how much oil for 10kw
Post by: ricker on May 04, 2019, 11:52:46 am
Hi
Can someone give me a quick answer on how much oil to put in my 10kw Kubota generator?
My dip stick is not original so I need to make a mark on it with the correct amount of oil.

I changed my 2003 10KW (Kubota) oil today. I expected to need 6 quarts of 15-40.

At 5 quarts it read full on the dipstick, even after a short run.

Your 94 could be different.

If like our 1994 U300, it will have the PTSMH-10 10Kw generator. It should take 5.7 quarts including filter. It takes a NAPA Gold 1344/Wix 51344 Oil Filter and a Wix 33390/NAPA 3390 Fuel Filter. Fill, run and then mark dipstick.

Might use synthetic to cut down on the nasty smell at high altitudes.
