Recently it was mentioned that one could support ForeForums using the Amazon Referral Fee method and also an Amazon Smile charity by using a link to Amazon that was provided. However, that link goes to Amazon but there is no indication that the provided link offers Amazon Smile support. As I recall Michelle mentioned a few years ago that Amazon didn't offer the ability to support both. If there exists a link that supports both the Amazon Referral Program and the Amazon Smile charity program then I would appreciate it if someone provided it.
We don't know of any link that supports both programs with one click. We decided to alternate using the links, so over the course of time both programs benefit from 50% of our purchases.
I use the link for a Forum Referral and the Smile program as well but I know of no way to use them both at the same time. Each provides a benefit. Choose for yourself where your support goes or do like Chuck and I do, share.

amazon.smile is a separate website from amazon. Same products and prices with a charitable benefit.

The Forum gets a referral fee, my favorite charity gets 0.5% cash donation on everything I buy and I get 5% cash back on my Chase Amazon Prime card.

It would be good in the future to clarify that it's not possible for both the Forum to get a referral fee and your favorite charity to get a 0.5% cash donation on everything you buy.
I am proud to support the Forum and Habitat for Humanity with with whatever donations made by Amazon on my behalf for the purchases I make there using one or the other of the links. And with being a supportive and helpful member of the Forum and 28 years of building homes with HFH.
What I said is exactly correct. Nothing says or implies you can get a benefit to both or that there is a single link that does so.
this is getting testy so I am going to lock it.
