Title: Piles of light blue powder
Post by: Dwayne on May 21, 2019, 02:37:21 pm
I haven't been to the coach in storage in a while and when I went in I found a pile of light blue powder the consistency of soap powder in the bathroom sink and shower and a small amount near the fridge.  Anyone have any idea where this is coming from?  My first thought is it is foam insulation that something (termites?) is chewing.  I have never seen any signs of termites and I've been fairly good at keeping ant killer sprinkled all around the perimeter just because I had a broken down car in high school that sat and became infested with ants.  Never could get rid of them.

It's almost certainly insulation.  Sounds like mice but some ants will make little piles of things.  We just had small piles of sand in our mail box.  That was ants.  Put out a mouse trap and an ant trap and you will know.  BTW mice really like peanut butter.

Go to Walmart or some place and get a couple of plastic box type traps.  The kind that has a trap door, bait with P-nut butter.  One in the sanitary compartment and another near the water pump or at least that is where I put them.  Found a dead mouse in one recently.  Also look under drawers and places where they can hide and build nests.
