My kitchen faucet has developed a leak and the pump relay is stuck in the on position so I am wasting a lot of water. I checked the 12v fuse box by the bed and none indicate they control the water pump. I won't be able to get parts for a week or so. Can someone tell me which 12v fuse controls the pump?
Slim,
Don't know if your U225 is the same as our U280. We have a 12V circuit breaker panel in the main storage bay, mounted to the wall, driver side, under a white fiberglass cover. There are two vertical columns of circuit breakers. One on the right has 4 breakers - the bottom one controls the water pump power. They are manual reset breakers. If tripped, a little black button sticks out the side. Push it in to reset.
I pulled out the wiring diagram for a 1993 U240-- yours may be the same.
Lift the hinged dash. You will find a 20 amp water pump fuse. On the diagram, it shows to be in the right most fuse block.
Thanks for the help folks. I lifted out the couch and found that by moving one wire on the relay the latching function was disabled. Now, I need to hold the on/off switch to power the pump and can shut it off by simply taking my finger off the switch. That will get me by until I can fix the leaky faucet and get a new relay. I'm also going to replace the pump while I'm at it.
Hopefully the replacements will last 26 years like the original equipment.
