Just refreshed my step, step cover, and front airbag regulators, etc. Found a leak at the front airbag regulator and decided to change a few parts while it was blocked up. I can now actually see and adjust the regulators. This picture is the old one. Each solenoid has two exhaust(?) port assemblies. I believe these adjust the speed of the step and step cover open/close. Like a dummy, I did not pull them all completely apart when I had it off. I just pulled the exhaust valve assembly and resealed it. Now two of the adjustment screws broke so they cannot be turned. I think I can get a deep socket on them without pulling everything back off. The part I am looking for is in the picture of the old assembly. I've searched but am coming up empty. Any ideas? Thanks.
I think that is a Norgren valve. The part you have highlighted adjusts how fast the step parts move. The pressure adjustment on the regulator adjusts how hard.
If you search the forum for Norgren valve, it should give you some leads.
Hope this helps,
Rich

Thanks Rich. It is a Norgren MK01CEA36AGNA valve. It did give me some leads but right now I do not need all new solenoids, just the exhaust valves. Everything is working fine I just can't adjust them as they are broken at the end now.
I have no idea if they have replacement parts for the valve or just buy a new one.

Hi, per your instructions I tried to adjust step cover air pressure, valve says pull and turn - how hard a pull does it take, I was afraid of breaking it
David
That is why I replaced mine. One was cracked and all three would break if I forced them. The sleave should pop out and turn easily and then snap back into place to lock it. The new ones are very easy. The old ones were locked up.
David,
I think that's your answer. I ended up replacing mine.

To find replacements for the adjustable exhaust valve that we use on step & step slide pneumatic valves, Google 'images'
'Pneumatic Adjustable Muffler Exhaust Valve'
BTW, I cannot imagine how the originals could break.
I agree they are robust. What broke was the screw adjustment end. On two of them. After a couple of albeit hard turns the one side snapped. So with a one sided slot they are hard to adjust now... When I had them our I should have taken them all apart and cleaned them. Lesson learned. Thanks for the google images suggestion.

This is the air solenoid
Thanks David, now I know what I am looking for :)
Thanks to the help here I found the original part I was looking for (hopefully). Should have 4 of them tomorrow delivered to my door.
