Title: Microwave exhaust fan
Post by: Lt403 on June 17, 2019, 10:27:44 pm
Good evening everyone,
Does anyone's microwave exhaust fan above the stove vent to the outside?

Our former '03 was vented through the roof; however, our current '00 is not vented to the outside (has a Kool-o-Matic fan directly above the microwave).

With the '03, I learned (from an FOT tech) that the microwave fans need a window open (even slightly) due to the almost air-tight condition of the coach.  Here's my post about that:  Sharp microwave/convection oven venting problem (http://www.foreforums.com/index.php?topic=10135.msg63386#msg63386)

Our 2003 U320 does.

Agree, thought mine was broken. No air flow from vent on roof, then opened window and found a good amount of air coming out. If I run any of the coach vents, always open at least one window.
If it is not too hot, can open bedroom or drivers window and turn on both bathroom overhead vents and get a pretty good breeze.
