Need instructions on how to remove Thin-Lite lens above kitchen sink in our '99 U270 in order to change fluorescent tube. Searches on web finds zero help.

If like mine take a pocket knife blade and pry one side out of the base and the lens should fall in your hand. Be careful not to crack thin lens
A thin metal spatula works well. Sort of spreads out the load.
Is this the type of light your talking about? I took this pic the other day to ask the same question. Need to change a bulb and don't want to break it.

Mine didn't have the wood trim, but I just pryed and they came right out.
You should not have to remove the wood trim to get the lens cover off.
I just squeeze with both hands on the long sides and push away from me and pull down on the near side until it pops loose. Fingers on the near side and thumbs on the far side, or maybe it's reversed, can't remember. Don't do that much anymore since converting them to LED.
If you have big strong manly hands, be careful when you squeeze the lens. Fine line between just enough...and too much. Don't ask.
