Title: Front Cap Shelf
Post by: jor on June 26, 2019, 01:56:04 pm
OK, one more post. I promise! I recently re-glued the front cap shelf and took that opportunity to install a long narrow shelf up there. I've always found this area pretty useless and the original Foretravel A/V setup pretty funky. Anyhow, this gives a little more usable space up there.

Are you calling my A/V compartment funky? My brother has a 2005 Monaco Camelot and wishes Monaco had made his look as good.

Jor, what is the shiny headliner you have on the fiberglass? and where did you get it?
Thanks

It's called FatMat (Automotive Sound Dampening | FatMat Sound Control | Rattle Elimination (http://www.fatmat.com/)). I just had some laying around. It's really for sound deadening. It would be great for the generator compartment. I just used it to cover the cap insulation. Mine was in good shape but I figure this stuff will keep it that way and also give me a brighter compartment.
