Title: 1989 U320 Atwood Dash Air
Post by: Harold Kennington on July 01, 2019, 03:11:35 pm
On a recent trip my atwood dash air blower motor went out.  I am having an issue finding a replacement motor.  The atwood number in the book is 97074.  I called Brad and he crossed it and sent a replacement to me but it is the wrong one.  He can't find one and I cant either.  Does anyone have any opinions or suggestions of a replacement.  The actual number on the motor is a Redmond brand pf26630.  Thanks Harold Kennington

Could you get one direct from Attwood,

Would you have the number for the Engine compressor for your Attwood A/C unit, By any chance,

Actually you can rebuild it a lot cheaper than you can buy one for. However I have a bunch of Redmond motors left over from back in the day when I had a RV Appliance Repair shop. I will look tonight out in the 50 year old shop to see what I have if that would help any.

BTW, I have a world of knowledge on 1950-1999 appliances in this 81 year old gord If I can help anyone feel free to hollar at me.  :-\

The reason I asked is KCOOP is looking for an engine A/C compressor for his 1988 300turbo HP Cat as his is missing,  Its for his dash A/C unit,
He has found one but doesnt know whether it will fit or not,  And doesnt want to buy it if it dont fit,
His thread is on this page too,

I have the Atwood parts page and diagram from owners manual I can email if you will "Send Message" me an email address. It has all the numbers. Atwood doesn't make dash air anymore from what I can find out. I replaced my compressor and bought it from Dallas truck air a couple months ago. They were cheaper than the local parts store.
