Our Front Roof AC is not able to cool anymore. It is working but not blowing cold air as it should.
What do you do, just replace or can it be fixed with adding freon?
Thank you.
How old, what brand? Have you looked at YouTube videos yet? If you don't have a service port on yours, here is how to install one. Other good RV AC videos on YouTube also.

First check the intake air filters located inside the coach, only two screws to lower it down. Next while you have the shroud off, with a flash light look up inside the AC at the evaperator to see if it is plugged with junk like dust, spider webs, etc., If so try to clean it with a long brush and shop vac. If every thing else looks good the remove the top shroud and see if an charging port has been already installed. If not they are easy to install then you can check the freon charge and add a little freon if necessary.
Dirt build up first suspect..
Is your compressor turning on? You should be able to hear the compressor come on shortly after the fan comes on with a call for cooling. I have a faulty compressor on my front AC. Fan comes on, but compressor is locked up.
