I want to replace this with an LED fixture. Can someone explain how to remove the existing lamp. I obviously don't want to damage the walnut panel.

We just replaced the bulbs with LEDS...kept the OEM fixture.

Thanks David...I would've broken it by prying 😱. It twisted off but was right.

Replacement is dimmable LED. Directional swing and pivot. Light turns on with brief touch and dims by touch. EZ install and inexpensive. Requires larger brushed nickel plate due to size of FT hole in wood.

I'll leave side switch on and use touch to use when needed. Saves finding that panel switch at night or when driving.
