There is a "kind" of a filter.  But, extremely rare to service it.

What are your symptoms?

Liquid or Vapor LP generator?

Hey Wolfe I really don't have any problems. I am a newbie to propane generators, and was curious about how I should service it. When I first got my FT the generator would only run about 30 minutes, I checked the oil and it was way over full. I took about a pint of oil out of it, and it will run all afternoon running the AC now. Do you know if there is an air filter I should replace or clean?

Yes, both air and oil filter are normal service items. Get them from any Onan dealer and many RV stores.

I have a 6.5nhmfa11526c with 1800 hrs.  I agree with wolfe10.  If the propane supply is liquid, then there is a rock type filter in the fuel shutoff value.  I buy my filters from local NAPA.  I use Delo400 as the engine oil.
