Title: Haldex replacement
Post by: Journey, Roam, Explore on August 30, 2019, 07:26:43 am
In this link (https://www.foreforums.com/index.php?topic=24650.msg193502#msg193502) they talk about bendix vs Haldex. Can you put in a Bendix A9 in place of the Haldex?
If you do, is there any benefit other than cost?
Has anyone done it, and if so what are your thoughts?

Getting the coach ready for next year, replacing all filters, fluids etc.
Thanks
Bob

Bob,
1. Yes
2. A9 parts are available at more places while on the road.
3. You will have to drill different mounting holes. No big deal.

Mike

Would you also have to rework the hoses to make the connections?

Nah. I was thinking of down grading to a sprinter van but just don't think I can make it work for me. Took the add down.
