Title: Removing the small table behind the co-pilots chair
Post by: Journey, Roam, Explore on September 03, 2019, 09:27:59 pm
I want to remove the small table behind the co-pilots chair to put in new flooring at to put in a desk there. Not sure how it is connected to the coach. It has 2 walls, the outer and a inner. There is a 120 volt outlet and a phone jack. It has the corian top. It is mounted on some plywood that is covered in carpet. Before I start taking to much off, wonder if anyone has done this before and how they did it.
Also wonder about the wood under the windows and above the table. Anyone know how they are affixed to the walls?
Thanks
Bob

Not sure about the table, but for the small shelf look underneath it.  There are some screws holding it to the wall.

Joe what did you do to remove the small cabinet with the light behind the copilot seat?

many screws - have to use a good flashlight to see them.  walls and floor are where they are located

Like Ernie said, lots of screws.  Your cabinet should have removable shelves and a false floor.  Once removed, you will see the screws and also your forward Aqua hot heater.  You can remove the cabinet and then the heater core.  I mounted mine on the side wall to get away from the floor as I installed electric theater seating and core was in the way.  Thanks to Chris on this one as you can mount the heater core any way you wish with no issues.  I have photos posted under remodel.  If you need further assistance, please send me an email at:  joe@angelsonwheels.com

Thanks guys ! No heater core in mine, its under the jackknife sofa. I saw the screws and  figured that would be it, but wanted to hear from someone that has already did it. Mine has a lot of damage from a PO on the aft side and while Foretravel could probably fix it for a coach buck or 2, might just get rid of it. Has to be moved to put in new flooring anyway.
