Title: 12v dc wiring hidden in skylight trim
Post by: Byron on September 10, 2019, 11:36:05 pm
Removed skylight to reseal and noticed two wires hidden between shower opening trim and skylight frame. Wires are constant 12v dc and were capped off. Was there an option back then to back light white flat panel for more light in shower at night? If there wasn't I'm going to do it now with four 12" LED 12v light strips and a motion detector light switch attached to shower opening trim piece. I'll let you know how it turned out with pictures when I'm done.

Byron,

Our '92 had a 2 bulb fluorescent light fixture that was about 10" long installed on the skylight trim ring. I know ours was OEM but have no idea if it was just an option.
