This is a new problem today. My hope ie someone had this issue and found a fix.
Just today my water pump started cycling off and on every few seconds with water pump switch on and no faucets open. It drained approx 80 gallons from fresh to grey, I knew this because I filled and emptied this morning. I am unable to pinpoint where it is going.
Do you have any ideas or has this happened to you? I am stumped.
I have wondered if valve under sink switching from tank fill to line pressure could be going out or leaking. Moving it back and forth seems to make no difference. This is my only thought of a possibility, so if no responce from others on forum, I will change it out tomorrow.
Jack, the valve could cause the pump to run, but see no way for the water to get in the gray tank. Hope this is something that has been solved by another member.
If you have checked the kitchen and bathroom sink faucets, how about the shower? Washing machine? Ice maker?
I don't see how the freshwater tank fill valve could put water in the grey tank. Please post what you find..........
Justin's suggestion of washing machine is the only connection that could cause your issue.
Thank you craneman and Four Travelers,.....problem with your advice, fixed.
I used the shower this morning and did not turn it all the way off. Yikes.
Jack, I might do that but I'd NEVER admit it to anyone.
Ha. Glad you found the problem.
I have a switch on mine.. the shower door wont unlatch until the water is off :))
Was the unlatching system factory or was it an aftermarket product.
Is the switch 12 volt or 110 volt?
Can you post pictures of how the wiring is concealed from the door latch to the water valve?
Do you worry about getting trapped in the shower should your electric system fail?
Is there a upgrade switch and water valve available with bluetooth?
If you leave the salesman switch at the front door off, will the unlatching system still work?
Can I update my rv to a similar unlatching system for my shower door for less than a coach buck and can you recommend a shop to do it?
Maybe I am overthinking my earlier problem, but it does point out to me advice I've given others. That is ask yourself what could be causing this issue that is not actually a failure of something. This applied to my problem, 12 v not working, 110 v not working, water not draining in the shower drain, etc. Have a great day all, I am so happy to be part of this forum.
Jack...........
Me thinks DavidS is "yanking your chain" 8)
He HAS PROBABLY given it some thought tho....... cause he has done the same thing. ^.^d
The microphor electronic shower door water valve latching system. Scary thought..... :o
If it is 110 volt, does the system electrically check the body to make sure it is dry before exiting????????????
And, can I use Samsung "smart things" to turn on the WiFi enabled auto body dry automation if its not?
