Title: U295 Water pump relay placement and picture
Post by: Diane and Louie 04 U295 on September 25, 2019, 01:18:49 pm
Hi, our water pump stopped working on our 2004 U295. Troubleshooting showed that pump is working but no more power getting to it. Breaker is good. Can't find relay. Does any one know where it is and have a picture of it. Thanks

Thank you, we found it but it is disabled. Now we will have to follow the wires :(

Mine quit working 10 years ago.  On a weekend. I called FOT's weekend number to locate the relay. Fortunately, after cycling it manually, it started working, and it still works to this day.

This leads me to believe that someone wired the pump through one of the pump switches.  If that is the case you have a burnt up switch as they (the pump switch on your cabinet) isn't rated for that kind of amps from the pump.

There are two latching relays next to each other, one for the water pump power and the other for the fresh water fill solenoid valve power.  These are ground controlled latching relays.  They cycle with a ground from the momentary switches for the pump or fill valve.  There is a button on the top of the relay that will cycle the latch.  It is not a reset button.  It is not clear what "disabled" means in this context.

The picture is for a fill valve, replace the fill valve with the water pump and you get the idea.  There may be an inline fuse near the water pump as well.
