There are two norgren valves behind the entry steps on our U270, according to folklore I should be able to pull the valves knob and adjust the pressure.
Having pulled, pulled harder, sprayed it with penetrating fluid and still not budging.
Am I doing something wrong, is there a way or trick to this, any help appreciated.
David
David,
1. That is just a rumor, similar to the Boggy Creek Monster. With there location they are most likely full of dirt.
2. I normally don't recommend this, but in this case just replace it. You can pick one up at most any home improvement store in there air compressor stuff. They aren't anything special.

OK thanks Mike, there is no movement- will see what I can pick up
This is what I used.

Carry extra, they are all over the coach.
I would also carry a new Norgren valve, they go bad. If your on the road, easy fix to replace. At home you can take them apart to clean them and reassemble (sometimes).

Mark thank you for the Lowe's link, I seem to live there and was not familiar with that part, needed one and on Chris's recommendation bought two, that's all they had, at least I can get it on tomorrow before we head to Nag next week, the step cover is way too fast closing
Thanks , both of you

You can adjust the opening and closing with the exhaust on the back of the rectangle norgren .. flat head screw driver
Don't need to replace to change close speed?
so Knob is only for pressure?
Thanks
You should have 2 exhaust ports on the Norgren valve.. the rectangle one.. it has a flat head slot in the back of the exhaust piece.. turn it in or out to adjust the speed of the shutting or opening
