Title: Some interior work
Post by: 71stpsde on September 30, 2019, 04:17:03 pm
So right after I bought the coach I noticed that the Co-Pilot seat was looking worse for wear. So I had Trina reupholster it and the front door pad. I also knew I wanted to put my laptop on the table behind the seat, but it was starting to act up. So I bought a Intel NUC and mounted the 24" monitor to the table. I also put a 2" hole through it for the wires. I hate wires all over the place.
I put the NUC inside the cabinet. I have the door propped open. I'll keep an eye on the temps.

Got all the stuff sorted. Keith inspected the coach and I had the high priority things taken care first. I'm ready for my first trip tomorrow to the Grandvention.

What's the mount you used for the Monitor.  Great idea btw.

I got the mount from Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ICOK37G/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). It's a Ergotech grommet mount. You drill a 1/2 hole and the bolt goes through the table top. Then you have a large washer with a threaded handle to tighten it. Then I got the Ergotech Freedom arm (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008TYF0F4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1). It works great. I just drove 120 miles and it didn't move one bit.
