Bought this coach 6 months and 6000 miles ago. Had everything checked out, steering, shocks etc. Ride was very good but had some rattles and steering wander. In fact that annoying steering correction all the time could not be ignored or you got the GrrrDrrrrr sound of the tire wandering on to the hard shoulder- very annoying.
Concrete roads or small areas of uneven surface were more than noticeable, and something had to be done.
Last week changed out the old blue and yellow Bilstein shocks which had no leaks and not more than 57,000 miles on them if original from 1999 for 8 new just arrived from Holland Koni's and today's 300 miles were worth every dollar spent: no more steering wander, no more rattling, the dampening was phenomenal.
Glad they helped,that's what wev'e all been saying,old shocks don't have to leak to be worn.
