Anyone have a review on a great lock on air chuck? Tired of holding the air chuck when filling the tires. I searched the internet. Many to choose from. Would like to buy a good one on the first purchase and not experiment.
Thanks, John M.
John, you should be able to find them at any auto or truck shop, they're a common tool in any tire bay.
Do you want one with a gauge or just to add air? I haven't found one that does both and use one to fill and one to check pressure.
I bought the Astro 3018 from Amazon it's the best I've found so far you pull back on the lever and it airs the tire let go and it shows the pressure in the tire makes it easy to use
I have one of these, locks on to fill

I have one like the Astro 3018 too that locks on but you have to hold the trigger to fill. Good for my bikes.
I have one very similar to this one.. turned the valve stems on the outer tire so I can get to it and not swap the chucks and I can put the tire monitor on easier

I currently have a digital setup like the AstroAI ATG250. I see the lock on chuck they use. They also sell the chucks separately. Going to buy the chucks online. Thanks for the help.
Carmen and John
I rigged a regulator on a manifold with 4 leads and the lock on chucks similar to the "1930 Straight Lock-On Air Chuck" for our Jeeps. I set the pressure connect all 4 to the tires then go about other business. I been thinking about making one for the higher pressures and maybe with just 2 leads.
