Title: RV Fog Doctor in Searcy.

The windows on the passenger side of out coach must have been facing the high noon sun when it was resident in Louisiana for most of its life. The seals in 4 windows had crept in and looked ugly. Heard about Fog Doctor in Searcy Arkansas from Xtreme (they sent their Foretravel up there for window repair this summer) Headed to RV Fog Doctor three weeks ago, they said 4 windows is a full day and possibly a few hours next day if there are problems. Pulled into their place on a Sunday evening, back up to the building, 50 amp electric and water if you need it. Eight o'clock next morning they get to it, you drive into a bay in their building (they have about 6 bays and a paint booth, they do body work as well) immediately two technicians start removing all four windows and take them away to rebuild. The manager told us we could use the lounge, internet and his pick up truck if we wanted. They finished early when we explained our windshield wipers had failed and there was rain coming, got us out at three o clock, as quoted $200 per window. All the windows reinstalled with a gasket and caulked with clear fast drying sealant. Nice facility, clean, hardworking, well worth the stop , repairs all warranted for two years Are the windows difficult to operate: Yes, but no more difficult than they were before the repair, will get some lubricant on the tracks. They did windows in three other coaches the day we were there! David

Don't use any oil on the window slides. A dry Graphite might help and won't trap dirt like oil will. But be careful with Graphite as well. It can get messy. Esp on light fabric or carpet if you get sloppy with it.

Ssilicone spray is a lot cleaner than graphite and works well to lube the window channels.

Blow and vacuum the tracks clean as well as you can. Use a "dry type" silicone spray mostly on the lower section of the tracks but some on the top too. Apply, move the sliding part of the window and let dry, repeat as needed. A clean start really helps.

I am going to try Endust furniture polish, it is what The little Giant Ladder company demonstrators use and I have used for years to lubricate my ladders, Endust does not attract dirt, is not oily or greasy and is clean to the touch Will not get my coach back from Xtreme until end of December, will have to wait
