There are strip lights under the valances above the windows. They only work in the bedroom. Anyone know where the switch is for them? I put the wire tracer on it and it had a loud tone in the switch above the pillows on the bed but no voltage when turned on.
Thanks.
I think the switch is under the corner cabinet next to the passenger side of the bed.
I am not positive since I cut the wires a couple pf years ago when I recovered the valences. There is a switch there anyway that does nothing on my coach.
Can you clarify? Are you saying you can turn the ones on in the bedroom successfully but not the rest of the coach?
If so, in our '03 the valance light switch for the living room windows was one of the under counter ones in the kitchen.
On mine that controls the lights under the bedside upper cabinets.
Yes. The bedroom ones seems to be only controlled by the bedroom switch. I get a tone near the kitchen switches but those are for the aqua hot and the water fill and pump switches. Strange.
There is a switch at the kitchen sink that turns on valance lights, but it has to be dark for you to see that they are on. On mine it is the only unlabeled switch below the sink. Took my almost a year to find out what it went to.
Craneman for the win! What I thought was a fill the water tank switch in the galley is the valance light switch. Thanks! Funny that the tone generator pointed to it but I didn't think it was it due to a preconceived notion that it was something else.
Going to do RBG LED lights there when I recover the valances.
Fill switch is usually inside the cabinet below the sink
You made me go look at ours. No switch in the kitchen sink cabinet, but have one next to the fill valve in the bathroom. I had to look as it took 2 years for me to find the leaf for the kitchen table thanks to a forum member.
Ah now the leaf I know where it is...
We replaced the lights in the valances with dimmable LED strips this summer when we recovered our valances. Our bedroom valance switch is on the wall with all the other light switches in the bedroom.

It's one of the funky things I don't like about the coach. The switches are in places I wouldn't use. Not sure why they did it that way. For instance, the under counter lights in the kitchen and the bathroom are located ate the front door. Silly place to put it. At least do a 3 way switch in the bath or kitchen. But I can live with it.
