I thought this might help someone out there
I have received lot of help w this forum and thanks
My generator kept shutting down on the road
I figured it out when checking the fuses on the gen panel
When I pressed on the cap of the fuse holder on the generator. It started working. So I replaced the fuse caps
, cleaned the internal springs - contacts and install new fuses.. (the fuses tested good but).
There was some corrosion but cleaned them anyway
I have not had any more problems since. I think the springs in the fuse holders were weak. ( kinda like a flashlight does). Whew. NAPA has the fuse Caps
Good luck to all and drive safe
Thanks, Bill.
