I am at the CA. Chapter Rally here in Temecula. There is a lady here who is on her first trip out with her 95 GV U240. We cannot figure out how to get water into her tank. Not like mine with the manual valve under the bathroom sink. In fact there is another 95 GV here but it is a U300 and he can't figure it out either. Is there a hidden switch somewhere?
Are the directions on her Foretravel binders ?Does she have them
Steve,
On our "92 U-240 there was a trap door in the floor between the 2 front seats. Open this door and you had a couple of valves. One was to drain the tank the other was to fill the tank from shore supply.
Mike
That's how it is in my '93 U225.
In that "trapdoor" up front: LEFT valve opens tank to fill. RIGHT VALVE is to empty tank.
Yup trap door between seats. Valves were marked from the factory with small round disks. One is drain, one is fill.
And, if a new to her coach, have someone familiar with the torsilastic suspension check RIDE HEIGHT.
You folks are simply amazing! Found the hatch opened it up and there they are! Not sure we ever would have found it clear up there. Our heartfelt thanks. The Forum rocks!
Thanks again
Brett: Taking your advice on ride height as well,
Thanks
If you need help with that, PM me. Pretty easy with cheap yardstick cut off to 33" and a 1' ruler. Yes, with coach parked on level pavement and jacks stored.
