Title: HWH Pressure Switch
Post by: jor on December 09, 2019, 06:11:26 pm
I'm finally getting around to rebuilding my rear six pack. I got the pressure switch from Foretravel and Billy Jack assured me it was the correct switch. However, it is a completely different form than the original and is rated at 3,000 psi. The new one is an HWH part (RAP0933) but I can't find it on the HWH site. Anyone have one that looks like the second photo and if so, is the white wire with the ring terminal a ground or what? I'm attaching a photo of both. Thanks.

Did you mean to write "3,000 psi"?  The rear HWH pressure switch is only supposed to read pressures around 85 psi.  Doesn't seem (to me) like a 3,000 psi rated switch is gonna be very accurate at such a low working pressure (3% of the maximum range?).

While back we were looking for replacement pressure switches to go on the rear 6-pack.  Post below has some part numbers (Reply #11).

The 3000 psi switch is for the hydraulic HEH system

Thanks to you both. Foretravel Parts is usually very good but even they screw up from time to time. For now I'm going to use my old Nason and order one of those replacements noted in Chuck's previous post. Either that or convert my air system to hydraulic!
