Title: Dash A/C Fuse or Relay 1996 U295
Post by: Dougpad on February 02, 2020, 04:03:38 pm
Just had my dash a/c compressor replaced.

All good but clutch not getting power.

Technician verified freon level good.  Was able to jump power and clutch operated fine.

Must be a fuse or relay.

I can't find where it would be.  Checked under the bed.  Checked behind panel in the bay.  Can't see anything like it behind the panel on the passenger side.  Can't find it behind steering wheel.

Can someone please advise?  Very helpful if anyone has a picture of what I am looking for.

Thanks!

It is hid along with the breaker on same panel as the isolator.  This is hid behind the door that is behind the left (drivers side) rear tire (if it hasn't been moved) It also has the relay and breaker for the condenser fan located there. Yes this is a poor location.

Good info Mike, I wish I had known it when the condenser fan was causing the dash voltage to go up and down when the breaker was resetting. Your information is just a little late for me, but sure to help others
