Title: U280 front furnace, wet socks
Post by: fouroureye on February 06, 2020, 05:50:06 am
So we're sitting in Biloxi waiting out the torrential rains On our way to Arizona, New Mexico.

I walk up front and my socks feel wet... I'm thinking oh no I left the drivers window cracked...
Nope the couch front side is wet too, no there's water standing at the crack where the couch meets the carpet. I lifted the seat, yep water along both sides and the furnace cover.

Any way to stop this?

Good morning John
Your front furnace cover didn't blow open or off did it?

Make sure the caulk between the furnace "surround" and the FG side of the coach is good.  If not, water coming down the side of the coach can leak behind the surround/bezel and get into the interior.

Brett, I will check that too...

Hey, fluid Engineers..
Is it possible with enough water down the side, the exhaust port caused a runback?
