Needed a push button latch for our closet door; just the mechanism. Brad knew what it was, sent it out, bing bam! b^.^d
Amen to that!!! We had a terminal failure of the top rail connectors in our Cesana shower. This rail supports the roller door that is a main component of the shower. When these connectors failed, the rail would no longer support the door. I thought I was looking at a complete shower remodel because Cesana is no longer supporting this style/ model shower. . I called and spoke to David in the remodel department and asked if he had any old parts from remodels. He told me he would look around in his salvage pile. Long story short, after no word, three weeks later a package arrives in the mail with the exact replacement parts that I need. After a 45 minute reassembly, the shower and door system is like new.
That customer service experience is one of many reasons why I'll always be a Foretraveler.
PS: the permanent solution that prevents this failure is reorient the door lock to the open position so that bouncing down the highway does not stress the suspended rail by the weight of the door.
Only one drawback, and it's not a FT' fault. I'd done a search on Amazon (because I belong to PRIME and get free shipping), but gave up after they sent me one that did not fit the 1 1/4" thick door. I should have looked harder, but gave up after a while. The Part # P30329 'Push Button Bar Lock' was $9.19 for the lock/unlock assembly, which was all I needed, the push button and trim was fine. However, the shipping was $17.50 and it took a week to arrive! Yikes.......
