Title: Switches by the door
Post by: oldguy on February 16, 2020, 01:25:30 pm
The switches by the door has lost it's ground. Does anyone know where the wire for the light switch is grounded. I could run another
ground and everything would work but I would rather find out where Foretravel grounded it and fix it properly.

As long as you verify that it IS ground, there is nothing wrong with adding or "substituting" a  new ground.

If you pull the panel by the door in front of the passenger seat, the switches are on that panel and you can see the wiring there.  It could be the wires came off of the switch.

I ran another ground and someday I may try and fined out where it is grounded. Everything is working now.
Thanks for the responses.

Late model Foretravels run the green ground wires to a central location.  Not a frame ground as was done before the Unicoaches as far as I have seen.  My Unicoach lights do not flicker like the frame ground earlier coaches.

You might try the bedroom fuse box as I think the fuse is there for that function.  Maybe.
