Title: What are these Pressure Switches
Post by: jor on February 20, 2020, 06:12:58 pm
These switches are in the front most compartment on the driver side. They are above and aft of the steering gear. What do they control? Thanks.

Any numbers on the air lines going in or out of switches?

The best way to find out what they are is to put a signal tracer on the wire at the switch and follow where it goes.  Start looking in the dash area.  You'll probably find it there around a warning light or relay.  Have a great day  ----  Fritz

They may be the brake light switches re your schematic.

Not the brake light switches. Those are in the same compartment but located on the forward wall. See photo. I'll check for numbers. I'm familiar with the electric wire numbers but wasn't aware that the air lines were numbered too. I have a toner and will give that a try too. Thanks.

These pressures switches will set off the dash alarm when pressure is below 50 lbs. Watch for corrosion I have had the cap separate from the body and open the air line.
