Just finished the installation of the OBS Bricknose adapters with JWSpeaker 8900 Evo2 headlights and some inquiring minds were interested in this conversion vs. the Extreme mod or other DIY efforts out there. Will see if it was worth it tonight after I align the units. Total cost $777.33.
So here's the parts list:
OBS Aussie Headlight Conversion Kit for 87-91 Bricknose F-Series and Broncos. I ordered the kit from CPAddict, and afterwards found it was drop shipped from and cheaper at the manufacturing guys, OBS Solutions website. Oh, well. Cost: $386.20 with shipping incl and $359.95 at OBS and don't know about shipping from them.
2 x JWSpeaker 8900 Evo2 5x7 LED headlights. $381.14 for the pair at Amazon Prime. Simply the best LED headlights available (and made in the USA). Have 7" rounds on my Jeep and they are incredible.
2 x 9007 H4 adapter pigtails as I didn't want to cut into the FT wiring and splice in the included connectors from OBS. $9.99 at Amazon Prime. Had to pull pins in the adapters to align to JWSpeaker and FT pinouts.
The JWSpeakers I recieved are US/ECE compliant and have an extra red wire for a EU parking light I think. I tried jumpering this to the parking light wires, but the logic is not proper and it caused the lights to do strange things, like high beams on with parking lights etc, so I left them disconnected.
Installation: Unscrewed the outer headlight buckets from the fiberglass. There were 2 screws top and 2 on the bottom of mine. Tops were 1/4" hex and the bottoms were square drive panheads. Pulled aft, tilted and removed the buckets out the front opening...on the bench removed the butterfly headlight adjusters from the lens assembly. This is a PIA and you'll need to carefully remove these headlight adjusters and reuse them on the OBS brackets....not included in the kit.
The kit parts are raw steel, so I primed them with self etching primer and painted them silver. Installation of the new brackets and headlights is covered in the instructions with the kit and basically a reverse of the teardown as is reinstalling the buckets back into the fiberglass front.
The cheap adapter harnesses I bought were wired wrong, so using a needle I removed the pins and re-inserted them to correspond to the FT and LED pin outs. Picture attached of both ends.
If anyone has any questions or comments....fire away. Can't wait to drive at night to extend my miles/day. Aloha, Woody.
Edit...added a picture of the low beam pattern after rough alignment shot from outside driver window. Will need to butt up against a surface on flat ground to nail it, but you can see the precise cut-off pattern on the ground and trees a few dozen yards down the drive. It's a slight upslope I'm sitting on now. High beam looks like daylight.
Woody I also wanted to say the adjusters are difficult to find replacements. I actually had to order other (wrong) similar adjusters and rob the plastic parts that were broke to install on my adjusters. easy to removed once warmed up. they crack if there cold. Can't wait to see the results.

I am very interested in your final verdict. I have done some night driving and it hasn't been an issue yet. I am always looking at ways to travel as safely as possible.
I have the 2001 U270. I haven't done any research yet but the parts list probably the same for my coach.
Thank you for letting us know about your project.
