Just thought I would throw this out there...I really want one of these. Canvas Shoe Pockets (https://www.campingworld.com/canvas-shoe-pockets-69309.html)
Camping World, Gander Outdoors, and Overtons (all the same company) are the only one's that sell this. Do any of you have one of these that came with your coach that you are not using? We are no longer Good Sam members, and their shipping turnover is pretty far out and I would love one of these sooner. ^.^d
I have a hanging canvas shoe pocket that is currently in my closet that I would be willing to trade. ;)
Can't hurt asking....
You could get some material and make what you want with a sewing machine, or you could pin one together and have a seamstress zip through it. Tell her it's a prototype and you need a stitching price for 500 pieces.

What would Imelda do?
I ran a 1/4" diameter bungee cord around the base of our bed, under the skirt, and held in place with strategically placed screw eyes.
Then we just stand our extra footwear on their heels with the soles against the platform and the bungee holding them tight.
I forgot one dimension. The bungee cord is about 4"-5" off the floor. This way the cord is about midway up the footwear standing on edge.
I am thinking of adding another cord--a little lower--because I have had the heavier footwear slide/fall out after traveling on some rough roads.
What I like most about this method is that the footwear and the cord "disappear" under the skirt and we can still get close to the bed.
Another reason: The DW had me mount the shoe pockets thing on the inside of the pantry closet door so she can put a number of lightweight, frequently used household items where they are quickly accessible. Things like a box of rolled tinfoil, plastic bags, tall plastic bottles of catsup or steak sauce (same thing for poor people) or anything kind of long and narrow like a shoe. AND, she does use ALL the pockets!!
Amanda,
We use those canvas shoe pockets in our coach. They work great! We have one on each side of the bed. The only bad thing about them is my wife keeps trying to take over my shoe pockets with her multitude of shoes. 🙂

Now I least know what they are for. There is one on each side of the bed also.
I ordered 2 from camping world with a May 5 delivery. Not a long time to wait.
My conundrum with the shipping times was that it was going to arrive, at earliest, the day we start travels north. We will be hop skipping and jumping a few weeks up to northern Michigan, and my hopes was it to have it in place before then.
I will probably order one and have it shipped to a friend's house in St. Louis. I thought about asking this friend if he would make one for me based on the nice suggestions above, but he is already task loaded with making us beautiful cockpit cushions for our Catalina sailboat. ^.^d To me, that is more important than having him make me a canvas shoe pocket thingy......priorities. :)) :)) :))
Ok. Came the other day and installed. They are a bit long but work fine. Put 1 on each side.

I put one on each side of my bed yesterday too. Great mines think alike. :D
Thank you everyone for your responses.
I found a great solution that arrived quickly and was less than 1/3 the price of 2 Canvas Shoe Pockets!! I ordered one of the bed skirt shoe organizers from Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/Whitmor-Bedskirt-Storage-Organizer-Clear/dp/B00GNXORGG/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=Whitmor+Bedskirt+Storage+Organizer+Clear&qid=1588445477&s=home-garden&sr=1-2). It works beautifully, and I love that I was able to get these shoes out of my closet, and that they are completely hidden by our bed skirt!! :D
It was twice as long as it needed to be, because I didn't want to cover our speakers and electrical outlets under the bed. It came as two skirts with 8 pockets on each side of the bed. We cut one of the skirts in half, and screwed half to each side of the bed. Perfect fit with ample hidden storage!! So for $14.99, I actually got 4 sets of shoes pockets with 4 pockets each, so when these pockets get shabby, I have another set ready to install!! ^.^d ^.^d ^.^d
I bought the shoe pockets at Walmart and cut them down to fit under the bed and inside a cupboard door. I added bias tape to the top of the pieces that I cut and added grommets. We have screwed those in under the bed and hung them on command hooks in the closet. Ed uses white coated metal shelves for his shoes. I think their original use is for canned goods. They fit his shoes better than the canvas pockets. We got those at The Container Store and on Amazon.
Here are the pictures.
