I need to replace the original 6 pack on my 1996 36' U270. Part # is supposed to be on a metal tag, but there is no tag. If anyone with this type coach can supply the original # or a new # if you have replaced the old 6 pack, would be greatly appreciated. I would imagine that there is no difference in all the coach models 6 pack around that time with 2 axles. I replaced the front 6 pack last year and that part # is AP9283 Manifold Air Front.

MOT is working on this problem, waiting for a call back after they contact HWH. MOT has a a front 6 pack if anyone needs it.
Took some pictures of front and back 6 packs, main difference seems to be that the front has ports for 2 switches (not supplied) and the rear does not have those ports on my old one. HWH has modified the 6 packs since the coach was built, so rear could have plugged switch ports, as the one switch on the rear is mounted on a tee at the air in port.
I think JOR just recently replaced his rear manifold with a new one from HWH. Try sending him a PM for the part #?

Thanks Chuck, Jor PM'd me, he didn't buy a totally new rear 6 pack, cannibalized some parts from the old front one and a couple of new solenoids. Still haven't found a part # new or old. Everything is slow now MOT parts are waiting for HWH to return call.
I am still trying to find a part number for rear 6 pack. I did find some stuff in my manuals that indicate that I have a 600 series HWH leveling system.
OK, maybe I do not need a part number now. MOT was able to get in contact with HWH, seems HWH knows what I need, but they have to build it, guessing 3 to 4 weeks before I get it. Skeleton crew, shipping, etc.
Here is the end to this story. Part # on the new 6 pack is AP9278; I suppose this is an HWH part #. It came with a system pressure switch and all the solenoids. Received the part on May 4th so it didn't take as long as I thought. It could have arrived sooner if shipped direct to me from HWH rather than to MOT and then to me, but very fast indeed considering the circumstances of the pandemic. I was 1st advised by HWH and MOT that my problem was a faulty ride height valve on the left rear. I replaced it, but that did not solve the problem of air leaking out the ride height valve exhaust port when the coach was parked and above ride height (would not hold level when parked). The ride height valve was faulty though as it would eventually leak down until suspension was on the stops on the drivers left rear. Except for minor air leak ok for driving. Today I replaced the old 6 pack, had to move some fittings from the old manifold to the new manifold. Air lines were too short to use the new connections that came with the new 6 pack. Would have had to cut off almost an inch to do that.
I can only imagine that one of the solenoids was leaking air back to the ride height valve. July last year I overhauled the solenoids; new o-rings, pistons, springs using the kit from Tom McCloud. No problem until recently. Early today I raised the coach to max height in the rear, put in the safety blocks and did a few other things, came back about 15 mins later expecting the coach to be resting on the safety blocks on left rear. Funny, it seems to be holding, waited another 15 mins, no change. Let some air out and raised the coach again; used an inside caliper to measure distance between safety block and frame. After 15 mins no change, operation normal, no leaking down of the left rear. When the left side was leaking down, and prior to ordering a new 6 pack; I removed to old 6 pack, disassembled all the solenoids, inspected them, found nothing wrong, no dirt, etc, put them back together and reinstalled the 6 pack, it still leaked air out the leveling valve. Today it didn't, go figure. Installed the new 6 pack anyway. It works like it is supposed to. After 6 hours and leveling system off, no leak down and brake tank pressures still about 88psi.
