loosing air flow out of dryer after changing filters have no air leaks but now takes forever to get pressure
any ideas? bad filter??
liked my bendix on other coach much better
What are the chances it's a bad filter?
Are you certain you have no leaks?
When is the last time the dryer was replaced, and not just the filters?
Your drier has failed. Replace it.
Remove the filter if it is the screw on canister . Check the O ring and make sure of only one. Most likely some thing you just did ..
I just replaced my dryer. Very simple! I did think it was taking to long to build pressure and found that I had not closed the air tank valve fully. Check there.
I am very happy I replaced the entire unit!
What was the solution> ?
Thanks,MM
changing out the dryer
Considering the downside to air dryer malfunctions, changing it out is cheap insurance.
Ya dun gud.
replaced dryer checked for leaks adjusted governor now looks good at 125psi
thanks for all the input
If you have a cartridge style dryer, when you change the cartridge, wipe out the purge area and maybe blow out the basin.
