There's a goo (butyl) oozing out from what seems to be a rubber trim outside of the metal window frame. Is this original? How best to address?

Our's is a 2004 and here is a picture of the window frame with no trim around it.
In this picture I was using a putty knife to separate the frame from the wall of the coach so I could install new weather stripping. Ours was installed with a foam weather stripping, not with butyl. I believe earlier years did use butyl at installation to seal the frame to the wall. I recall others using a plastic putty knife or some other scraper to clear any butyl squeezing out. If you think the ability to seal water out has been compromised you will have to pull the window out and reseal.

Bruce's windows are what I am used to seeing: metal frame with no rubber molding/gasket outside of it with butyl tape between metal frame and coach side.
I wonder what the rubber trim piece is hiding? Do you have it around all the windows on your FT? It's interesting that the graphic appears to be vinyl stick-on and was applied to the original window frame prior to the rubber trim piece going on. I haven't seen anything like it before.
Mine are motion windows and look like Bruce's. No caulk leaking out. I suspect someone changed out your windows and didn't do a good job of it. Might want to take part of the ring off and see what's inside, behind the retaining ring.
Use a plastic razor blade and then you can go around the window and remove the sealer that is ozzing out.
Graphics are immaterial to my question but trim may or may not be related to the inexpensive repaint done by previous owners (we're 5th owner). Not sure what it would have accomplished as taping metal frames, even if not removed, would have solved the "due" issue. I don't believe windows have been changed and see no records to indicate (have good history). I'll also check with Foretravel but hope to get more input here as well.
Ron, thanks. I'm confident I can clean the ooze but am curious why it was applied in this manner as it seems to be independent of the metal frame. And, what purpose it may be serving...unless perhaps to seal windows from leaks. But, no evidence of previous leaks and judging by condition of windows and interior seals they appear original 2000 install.
It appears the butyl is what is adhering this outer gasket to the coach body.
I have the original windows, and suffer the oozing grey sticky junk when the sun warms the frames.
But, Xtreme can supply you with the black rubber like gasket, by the foot. It's flat and has sticky on the frame side, and sort of "D" shaped. I've used it on one window that I removed in order to install my residential refrigerator, in 2016. Now to just find some time to do all the other windows. I'm getting tired of cleaning the grey crap off the fiberglass side walls. Also I found using an impact gun to remove frame screws worked way better than a screw gun.
I use a small scrap of formica like laminate (samples available at most big box stores) to scrape this goo off. Break it in half to get a sharp edge. Doesn't scratch gel coat. Os a bit of paint thinner to get the residue off. Then rewax or use WaxWashAll. Don't use acetone, it takes the black frame paint off.
Here's what that butyl looks like. I clean mine like Roger. I use a putty knife, then a razor blade, then mineral spirits, then wax. The razor works great on gel coat but probably not a good idea with your paint job.

That rubber molding is completely different.
If anyone else has a rubber molding outside the window metal frame on a Foretravel, please post a picture-- VERY CURIOUS!
As asked is this only around one window or all of them.
What brand windows are they???
On my coach it's all windows. Dumb question, how do I tell manufacturer of window?

Many window manufacturers have their name on the glass. In your original post, second picture (lower right corner?) that appears to be the MFG ID. Your windows frame extrusion appears to be Creation Windows. My guess is the rubber surround is not original factory installed.
