Working in and around our leaking steering gear found two air line switches that I was not aware were located there.
We know about the two air brake light switches mounted on forward upper panel in streetside forward bay.
Anyone know about these newly discovered switches located in this bundle ?
Based upon how they are wired, a single circuit is activated based on either front or rear air lines reaching set point.
If they are not brake light switches then they are probably "low air pressure switches".
On my air system diagram, they are shown "T"ed into the air lines going from the treadle valve to the dash air pressure gauge.
This is the answer I got from Rick when I asked the same question a few months back.
jor
can they have anything to do with the retarder??
Pat
Usually the retarder switches 3 of them are under the dash or tucked behind a kick panel.
